Alumni sought to participate in upcoming Career Days 

The Office of Development and College Guidance are seeking to enlist alumni participants for the ongoing series of Career Planning Days.  Approximately 8-10 alumni per session will meet with current juniors (Friday, September 22) or seniors (Wednesday, October 11) from 7:45 a.m. until approximately 10:30 a.m., followed by an alumni reception.  Interested alumni should contact Alexis Gettings, Director of Alumni Engagement at agettings@holyghostprep.org

Mothers' Tea/Freshman and New Moms Welcome: Sunday, Sept. 17,
2017

We invite all moms/guardians to join us at our annual Mothers' Tea on Sunday, September 17. The Mothers' Tea is our time-honored tradition to welcome and honor all HGP moms and guardians, with a special welcome to our new and freshman moms and guardians. We begin our festivities at 11:00 a.m. with the celebration of Mass in the Chapel of the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Refreshments and fellowship follow in the dining hall. 2017 Mothers' Guild Craft Show - Committee Volunteers Needed

HGP Mothers Guild runs the most successful craft show in the area. Planning has begun for the 2017 craft show, which will take place on November 11th & 12th.

Committee Volunteers: At this time, we are recruiting a Committee Co-chair for Cafe. In addition, Shadows are needed for Vendor Support and Baskets. The Shadow volunteers will learn from this year's Chairs with the goal of becoming a Chair in 2018.

Mothers' Guild Dues Donation
The Mothers' Guild would appreciate a suggested donation of $15 per son/class to assist with offsetting the costs of the various community-building events we host each year, such as the graduation reception, Ring Mass reception, Alumni Mom and Senior Mom celebrations, and

HGP Class of 2018: It's time to register for Senior Retreats 

It is time to register for next year's senior retreats. The HGPACT retreat is an opportunity for seniors to reflect on their time at HGP, grown their spirituality, and experience time away with their class. 
The three retreat dates will be:
Oct. 18-21, 2017
Nov. 29-Dec. 2, 2017
Jan. 31-Feb. 3, 2018
Students can register for the retreats now by  "Click here to access the HGPACT Registration form and then simply fill it out and return it to the Campus Ministry office. There is limited space on each retreat.

Maintainance staff

HGP is seeking a dependable person to join our maintenance staff.  This is a full-time position. 2017-2018 student schedules

Students can view their schedule matrix through EHGP or PowerSchool. Please make sure that you view a current schedule just before school begins. Changes to student schedules are possible throughout the summer as adjustments may need to be made due to changes in staffing and enrollment.



Access medical forms on HGP's Health page

Ann Bushek, R.N., our school nurse, has continued to keep our students  safe, and most importantly, HEALTHY this school year!  She has also created a new Health page on our school’s website.  On this page, our HGP parents can quickly access forms for school such as asthma, severe allergy, and medication, as well as accessing the 11th grade physical and immunizations form.  The Health page can be reached at:holyghostprep.org/health

 

 

In Memoriam

Joseph T. Whinney, a 1986 Holy Ghost Prep graduate, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017. He was 48. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. An obituary can be accessed by clicking here
