On behalf of the Fathers' Association, I would like to thank the Holy Ghost Community for making another Christmas Blessing Campaign a remarkable success! With your amazing generosity we were able to spread joy, hope and opportunity to 66 local families in need during this holiday season. Thanks to everyone who participated whether it was by selecting a family, donating gift cards or time to help with the collection and delivery of gifts. The effort put forth will definitely benefit the recipients of your generosity. I would also like to mention that our toy drive for the Archbishop’s Christmas Party was a huge success as well. The event took place Thursday afternoon on December 17, 2015. It is a holiday celebration attended by over 400 children that participate in Catholic Social Service programs within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Through the generosity of the Holy Ghost student body, we were able to provide a toy to each of the 30 children assigned to Holy Ghost. Thank you to the Administration for allowing the Fathers’ Association to conduct this toy drive with the student body and a very special thank you to Mr. John Fitzpatrick for his work with the students. .png) As many of you are probably aware, the construction of a new driveway near the Fieldhouse has been ongoing this fall. As this project nears completion, we wanted to make you aware of the new traffic pattern for all vehicles that will be instituted in conjunction with the opening of the new driveway. We are also honoring recently retired baseball coach Ted Grabowski for his extraordinary service to HGP Athletics. An online memory book has been set up for Coach G! Our annual Coaches vs. Cancer Night will be held on Monday, December 21st during our basketball triple-header vs. Pennsbury. The freshman and JV will play at 3:30pm and 5:30pm, respectively and our varsity will take on Pennsbury at 7:00pm in Chapman Arena. Admission is $5 and there will be promotional items for sale. HGP Begins to Review Prospective Transfer Students Each year, HGP receives transfer applications for students entering the 10th and 11th grades. Families interested in considering HGP should contact the admissions office to learn more about the transfer process.

Three Holy Ghost Prep seniors recently represented the School at a Multi-Society Dinner Meeting sponsored by the Engineers Club of Philadelphia, where they networked with professionals from throughout the area, including two HGP alums. HGP College Guidance News PSAT Information The 2015 PSAT Scores will be available to students online on January 7, 2016. The schools will receive the paper score reports by January 29, 2016. The registration deadline is December 28, 2015 and the late registration deadline is January 12, 2016. The ACT will be offered on February 6, 2016. Prepare for the New March 2016 SAT Holy Ghost Prep is partnering again next semester with The Princeton Review. Through this partnership, The Princeton Review will provide a Fundamental SAT Test Preparation course for students at Holy Ghost Prep. This prep class will be for the New SAT beginning in March 2016.
