HGP Summer Courses 2016 This summer Holy Ghost is offering five engaging summer semester courses to our academic program. These courses are a combination of class work and unique field experiences related to the topics of study. Participation in the courses is completely optional and designed to engage your son in real-world experiences. Please see a brief description of the courses and contact the appropriate teacher with questions. If you have questions about the overall program, please contact the principal, Mr. Danilak. Any student interested in taking Statistical Reasoning in Sports this summer should see Ms. McKelvie for a registration form. This course offers students the opportunity to learn statistical reasoning concepts through the context of a variety of different sport applications. Students in this course will evaluate investment theories, analyze investment data, and perform long-range investment strategy while balancing risk. Visits to the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, investment firms, and the world finance capital of New York City are planned. This course offers students the opportunity to gain an analytical perspective on government and politics in the United States. Attention Senior Moms – Pictures Needed Each year the Senior Class is celebrated at the Mother-Son Dinner Dance with a baby photo contest, as well as a slide show.
