Preparations in Final Stretch for April 22 HGP Spring Gala and Auction

A steering committee of current and alumni members of the Holy Ghost Prep Mothers’ Guild is approaching the final stretch in preparation for the HGP Spring Gala and Auction, scheduled for Friday, April 22 at the Firebird Fieldhouse.

The entire School Community is invited to participate in the year’s signature fundraising event for HGP, with proceeds benefiting the Holy Ghost Fund, which largely supports scholarships, academic programs and greatest needs.

The Spring Gala and Auction will also commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Mothers’ Guild, as well as the contributions the organization has made to the School and countless past and current students over the years.

A premium raffle is also being conducted, with the top prize providing either a full tuition scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year, or a $10,000 cash prize.

For additional information, or to donate an auction item, contact Anne Marie Horgan, event chair, at mrtp51@comcast.net or access the following link www.holyghostprep.org/2016Gala.  Several sponsorship and advertising opportunities associated with the Spring Gala & Auction are also available and can be obtained by contacting Christine Seighman, HGP Coordinator of Special Events, at cseighman@holyghostprep.org

Speech and debate is an academic activity typically available to students in middle school, high school, and college. Similar to athletic sports, speech and debate activities are challenging, competitive in nature, and require regular practice, coaching, dedication, and hard work.
Congrats to the HGP students who qualified to NSDA Nationals (the former NFL) in Salt Lake City, UT which takes place in June.
