Box 2653 Harrisburg, PA 17105 Thank you, The Finance Office College Guidance Office seeking alums to participate in Fall Semester Career Days HGP's College Guidance Department and Office of Development are seeking to enlist alumni participants for the ongoing series of Career Days. Each session consists of approximately 8-10 alumni who meet with current juniors (Friday, September 23) or seniors (Wednesday, October 12) from 8 a.m. until approximately 11 a.m. If interested, please contact Alexis Gettings, Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement, at agettings@holyghostprep.org. Mothers' Guild News Mothers' Guild Welcome Tea - September 18, 2016 - 11 a.m. Save the date for this time-honored tradition! The Mothers’ Guild will host its annual HGP Mothers’ Tea on Sunday, September 18, 2016. All Holy Ghost Prep mothers are invited to attend and welcome the moms of the Class of 2020. Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel at 11 a.m., followed by a light luncheon in the School Dining Hall. There will be special raffles for all NEW moms and information on our events for the upcoming year. Invitations for this treasured event will be mailed in August. Be sure to check the Mothers' Guild website and future editions of Ghost Stories to RSVP. Volunteers Needed for Craft Show Committees Believe it or not, planning is beginning for the 2016 HGP Mothers’ Guild Craft Show on November 12-13, 2016. The success of the Craft Show depends on you, the Moms of HGP. At this time, we are recruiting Committee Co-Chairs for Center Stage, Café, Decorating and Publicity. In memoriam Kevin McHugh, Father of Kevin McHugh '20 Kevin P. McHugh of Philadelphia, passed away on July 14, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with Esophageal Cancer at the age of 49. He is the beloved husband of Jeneen (nee Bashwinger), proud father of Kevin James McHugh. Kevin was a proud member of St. Martha's Church. |
