RSVP for Founders Mass on Feb. 2

Thursday, February 2nd is the feast day of Francis Libermann, C.S.Sp. (1802-1852). Libermann founded the Society of the Holy Heart of Mary and was instructed by the Pope to unite his congregation with the Spiritans who almost had become extinct as a religious order as a result of the French Revolution. Libermann was then elected 11th Superior General of the Spiritans and was responsible for expanding the missionary efforts of the Spiritans into east Africa.  Libermann was declared Venerable by Pope Pius IX in 1876.  Libermann is considered to be one of the great spiritual masters of his time and a pioneer of contemporary missionary philosophy.

Venerable Francis Libermann, pray for us!

We will hold a special Mass to honor his feast day on Feb. 2 at 8:45 a.m. To RSVP, click here
