The Holt Center is nearing its completion
The Holt Center construction project is nearing its completion. Once completed, the 26,000-square foot performing arts and athletic space will benefit Holy Ghost Prep and the surrounding community.
Over the next 4-6 weeks, Holy Ghost Prep President Gregory J. Geruson ’79 reports that some key finishing touches to the building will be completed:
- The Frank Frederico Performing Arts Theater fit-out (specialty audio, video, and lighting) will be installed
- The general contractor will complete a punch list of final adjustments, touch-ups, and modifications
- The school will then move equipment and furnishings into The Holt Center and work on campus connectivity needs with the new building
“We are excited about the impact that this beautiful, state-of-the-art facility will have on Holy Ghost,” says Geruson.
March 1 is the anticipated soft opening for The Holt Center, the day when the school will begin using the facility.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on March 16. In attendance for that event will be HGP faculty/staff, students, key donors, friends, and community leaders who helped make The Holt Center possible. The building will be officially dedicated next fall as part of Holy Ghost Prep’s Vision 2020 Celebration Weekend on Sept. 15-16.
