Greg Wozniak ’13 gets drafted by Denver Outlaws
Greg Wozniak ’13 was selected in the 2018 Major League Lacrosse’s supplemental draft in mid-January.
Wozniak, one of the most dynamic long-stick midfielders in college lacrosse for Boston University last season, was drafted in the fifth round by the Denver Outlaws.
As a senior at Boston University, Wozniak was a 2017 second-team All-Patriot League honoree after he finished the year second on the team ground balls (52) and also recorded 17 caused turnovers in addition to one goal. Wozniak had at least one ground ball in every game and tallied two or more ground balls in 13 of the 16 contests in which he played.
Wozniak was a key contributor on both face-offs and in the defensive end of the field while also helping Boston University get out in transition—skills that he’ll no doubt put to good use as a member of the Denver Outlaws.
