Academic Excellence. In 2010-11, 58% of all seniors achieved an AP college-certifying grade during their HGP careers: 35% were designated AP Scholars; 11 achieved National AP Scholar Status. 69 HGP students were designated AP Scholars. 50% of the junior class and 45% of the sophomore class completed an AP course during the year. HGP HISTORY. Holy Ghost Prep was founded in 1897 and has been educating young men in the Spiritan Tradition for more than 100 years. Visit the HGP history website to learn about our past and contribute your own memories.

Athletics. 75% of HGP students participate in Interscholastic Sports or Intramurals. In 2010-11, HGP won seven league titles, a District Championship and a State Championship. Read more in HGP News and Events

Service to Others. HGP students participate in community service projects all over the area, country and world. In 2011, HGP students travelled to Tanzania in East Africa where they visited schools, learned from the Maasai and went on safari.
