HGP Soccer Camp
The 2015 HGP Summer Soccer Camp for grades 1-8 will be held from July 27th to July 31st. The camp runs from 9am-3pm. The cost of the camp is $225 for full day and $150 for half. All incoming HGP freshmen interested in playing soccer are encouraged to attend the camp. It is a great way to get introduced to the expectations of the HGP soccer program and it also allows the Varsity Coaches the opportunity to evaluate you as a player.

Back to Back
On Saturday, November 15th, HGP traveled to Hershey Park Stadium to play in their 2nd straight PIAA AA State Championship game. The defending champion Firebirds squared off with District 3's Lancaster Mennonite. Mennonite was making their 3rd appearance in the finals in 4 years. Mennonite was also ranked as high as 15th in the country just last month.
After spotting the Braves a goal just 5 minutes into the contest, the Firebirds settled down and went to work. HGP tied the game 10 minutes later on a free kick. Then, at the 25th minute mark, Mennonite saved a sure goal with a hand ball on the goal line. Their player was shown a red card and HGP scored on the ensuing PK to take the lead. Holy Ghost added to their lead in the 2nd half and coasted to their 2nd straight State Title, winning by a final score of 3-1. It is the 3rd State Title in the history of the program.
HGP finished the season with a 19-4-1 (11-0 BAL) record. The Firebirds are ranked in the following polls:
#5 in Region 3 by the NSCAA
#2 in Southeastern PA by the SEPA Soccer Coaches Association
#6 in the Inquirer Top Ten
#6 in PSCA Small Schools Poll (released before the state playoffs)
And in the Final NSCAA Top 25 National Poll, the Firebirds are listed as receiving votes (#37 overall).
