Tuition

$18,500 for 2014-2015 School Year – 1, 2, 4, or 10 payment plans

20% Multiple Student Discount (for qualified applicants that also apply for financial aid)

Scholarships

Trustee Scholarships

Five students each year will be given these half tuition academic scholarships. Students receiving these awards will have uniquely distinguished themselves in the classroom, on the entrance exam and as demonstrated through the entire admissions process to Holy Ghost Prep. The admissions committee will pay particular attention to:

  •  A students academic achievements in seventh and eighth grades

  • Students with entrance exam scores that rank highest among all applicants

  •  Students that have exhibited the ideals expressed in the Holy Ghost Prep mission statement

  •  Students who have demonstrated that Holy Ghost Prep is their first choice for high school 

Presidential Scholarships

Each year, up to 15 students are given these academic scholarships in the amount of $6,500. Students who score in the 97, 98 or 99th percentile on the entrance exam are considered for these scholarships. To distinguish the winners, the admissions committee looks at the applicant’s transcript, teacher recommendations, essay, entrance exam score and interview.

Libermann Scholarships

These $2,500 scholarships are awarded by the admissions committee to students who have  demonstrated exceptional potential during the admissions process.  These applicants will have been involved in a variety of outside school activities including groups like athletics, academic activities and clubs, forensics, Boy Scouts, community service, drama, religious ministry, tutoring, art and music. At the same time, these students  will have maintained the highest standards in academics and character.

Spiritan Scholarships

These scholarships are available to up to two students each year that are from an under-represented  social group.  Candidates for these scholarships will exhibit excellence in academics, exceptional  potential for growth and demonstrate a spirit of service. The amount of these scholarships will be substantial and may cover up to the full cost of Holy Ghost Prep’s tuition.

Marchione Music Scholarship

One annual scholarship in the amount of $1000 per year is given to an incoming freshman based on an audition with our Music Director and some site reading.  Auditions are scheduled in March.  

Financial Aid

Financial Aid Awards (based on financial need) can be up to $7,000 per year. 30% of the students at HGP recieve tuition assistance.

All Financial Aid Applications must be completed online. This application can be found by visiting:

The completed form must be submitted to the School & Student Services by NAIS website before November 28, 2014.

 Parents are also required to provide a copy of their most recent federal tax return before November 28, 2014. These should be sent to:

HGP President, Fr. James McCloskey, completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge after being nominated by HGP Dean of Students Mr. Tony Chapman. Fr. McCloskey accepted the challenge in the memory of HGP swim coach Joe Boback who died of ALS after a courageous battle.
Save the Dates for Homecoming and Fathers' Association Barbecue on September 6th and the Mass of the Holy Spirit on September 7th.
