Christian Service Program

Holy Ghost Prep is committed to Community Service. As a result, freshmen and sophomores are required to participate in 10 hours of service, annually. Juniors and seniors are required to participate in 20 hours of service, annually. Students may either obtain a list of agencies that Holy Ghost works with, or may form their own with permission from Mr.Whartenby. Students may partake in some of the following school sponsored service opportunities:

AARP, Blood Drives, Hand-in-Hand, St. Francis Inn (Soup Kitchen),
Tutoring at local parochials schools 

Taste of Mission Trips:
Harlem, New York
Appalachia, West Virginia
Dominican Republic
Tanzania

HGP's rowing program has one student-athlete rowing in college (La Salle University freshman Zach Geiser, right) and a second one, HGP senior Grayson Bautz (left, in red shirt), poised to be a collegiate coxswain at Holy Cross in 2018-19.
Holy Ghost Prep set a record on Giving Tuesday, raising $24,640 from 78 donors on Nov. 28. This year's Giving Tuesday campaign surpassed last year's amount by almost $10,000.
