Special thanks to the Freshman Moms and Representatives, volunteers, and the Junior and Senior Vice Presidents who hosted the very festive Mothers' Guild Christmas Dinner on December 4th.

At the dinner, we celebrated the success of our 2017 Craft Show by presenting Mr. Gregory Geruson with a check. The proceeds from the Craft Show will help to provide for installation of the Audio Technology package in the Holt Center Theater. This year's Craft Show raised a record setting $45,000.00!

Our Poinsettia Fundraiser was a success again this year. Special thanks to Rita Charlton for chairing the sale, and to all who purchased poinsettias. The chapel altar looked beautiful adorned with the donated poinsettias.

Also, thank you to Jodi Zelinsky for chairing the St. John's Hospice Shoebox drive. We appreciate the generosity of all who donated the shoeboxes for homeless men.

There will not be a general meeting in January. The next meeting will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018.

The Mothers Guild would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year!

If you would like to purchase an 'HGP Mom' apron, please contact us at mothersguild@holyghostprep.org. They will also be available at the February meeting. The cost is $20.

We could not run this huge event without the support of the school administration and the faculty!  Thank you for your help with communications, planning, space, and organizing student volunteers.

So many in our community volunteered their time, donated generously, baked wonderful treats, and contributed in so many ways! This includes moms, dads, our school maintenance staff, students, bakers, and crafters. To all of you, we say thank you! All of your contributions added greatly to our success!

In keeping with our Spiritan tradition, all leftover food from the Craft Show Cafe was donated to the Trenton Rescue Mission. Thank you to our Cafe Chairs, volunteers, and Judy Krohn for making this donation possible.

The Mothers' Guild would appreciate a suggested donation of $15 per son/class to assist with offsetting the costs of the various community-building events we host each year, such as the Graduation Reception, Ring Mass Reception, Alumni Mom and Senior Mom Celebrations, and Christmas Dinner. HGP's rowing program has one student-athlete rowing in college (La Salle University freshman Zach Geiser, right) and a second one, HGP senior Grayson Bautz (left, in red shirt), poised to be a collegiate coxswain at Holy Cross in 2018-19.
Holy Ghost Prep set a record on Giving Tuesday, raising $24,640 from 78 donors on Nov. 28. This year's Giving Tuesday campaign surpassed last year's amount by almost $10,000.
