The Mothers' Guild would like to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy New Year!

Save the date! The Mother Son Dance will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Click here for more information.

Senior moms, start gathering up pictures of your sons! At the Mother Son Dance, there will be a Senior Baby Photo Contest and a Senior Tribute Video. More information will be posted in January.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend our next general meeting on Monday, February 5. We begin our gathering with 7 PM Mass in the Chapel, followed by our meeting and refreshments in the dining hall. At the February meeting, we will be treated to a presentation by our HGP Forensics team. We will also have raffle drawings and 'HGP Mom' aprons for sale.

Our Hospitality Committee is in need of volunteers to donate refreshments and to assist with setting up and cleaning up. If you would like to help out, please click here.

All are welcome to participate in our February liturgy as readers or gift bearers. To sign up, please click here.

Special thanks to the Freshman Moms and Representatives, volunteers, and the Junior and Senior Vice Presidents who hosted the very festive Mothers' Guild Christmas Dinner on December 4th.

At the dinner, we celebrated the success of our 2017 Craft Show by presenting Mr. Gregory Geruson with a check. The proceeds from the Craft Show will help to provide for installation of the Audio Technology package in the Holt Center Theater. This year's Craft Show raised a record setting $45,000!

Our Poinsettia Fundraiser was a success again this year. Special thanks to Rita Charlton for chairing the sale, and to all who purchased poinsettias. The chapel altar looked beautiful adorned with the donated poinsettias.

Also, thank you to Jodi Zelinsky for chairing the St. John's Hospice Shoebox drive. We appreciate the generosity of all who donated the shoeboxes for homeless men.

If you would like to purchase an 'HGP Mom' apron, please contact us at mothersguild@holyghostprep.org. They will also be available at the February meeting. The cost is $20.

Give Back Greetings is an ongoing HGP fundraiser. Be sure to order your holiday greetings, invitations, announcements, and thank you cards from Give Back Greetings. It is a great alternative to Shutterfly, Snapfish, and other online greeting card companies, with 10% of each order given back to Holy Ghost Prep. Now through June 30th, Give Back Greetings is offering a generous 35% off when you use discount code 90033. To visit their website, please click here.

The Holt Center construction project is nearing its completion. March 1 is the anticipated soft opening for The Holt Center, the day when the school will begin using the facility.
Senior Jack Elliott played a fine all-around game and Jack Rittenmeyer made the game-winning shot in the Firebirds' 47-46 win over first place Lower Moreland.
