George Graffy ’82, the President of Smart Circle LLC and a member of Holy Ghost Prep’s Board of Trustees, will deliver the commencement address to HGP’s Class of 2023 on Saturday, June 3.
During the 2023 commencement exercises on June 3, John Fitzpatrick ’89, who is completing his 30th year as a member of the faculty, will be honored with the Reverend James P. McCloskey, C.S.Sp. ’70 Award.

Three Holy Ghost Prep seniors—Michael Pimble, Matthew McGinn, and Nicholas Afanassiev—were among the 129 students recognized for their academic achievements at the 43rd annual Archdiocesan Honors Convocation held at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia on Tuesday, May 23.
Holy Ghost Prep’s Class of 2023 is a group of unique and talented individuals who excelled in the classroom, on the stage, in laboratories, in community service efforts, and on the playing fields. This accomplished group of 102 students will continue their academic careers at 44 different schools in 14 different states.
Isaac Acosta is a three-year starting first baseman on the HGP baseball team. He is also a volunteer fireman nearing the end of a six-month fire academy course that will enable him to become an interior firefighter upon graduation in late June.
