FACULTY AND STAFF OPENINGS:
Math Teacher
Holy Ghost Prep, an all-boys, grades 9th through 12th college preparatory school in Bensalem, Pa., seeks a full-time math teacher to begin January 6, 2025. This full-time position involves teaching and engaging students at all levels of math. Teachers are required to teach five classes in a collaborative environment with highly motivated students and an experienced faculty. In addition, a faculty member is expected to assume community responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Excellent knowledge and understanding of a broad base of mathematical skills and content

Implement a standard aligned, academic program which includes lesson plans, accommodations, assignments, and assessments
-
Assume responsibility for the academic progress of students and actively work to ensure all students meet or exceed expectations on academic measures up to and including standardized tests
-
Provide an engaging learning environment using a solid understanding of strategies to teach, assess, and promote effective upper level critical thinking/analytical skills to adolescent male learners
-
Create and maintain a strong classroom culture with effective management skills, communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills
-
Collaborate with co-workers to ensure curricular coherences, discuss student work, share best practices and design opportunities for community building through incentives and enjoyment
-
Communicate with school administration and leadership on all relevant matters as directed.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
-
PA Teacher Certification and/or prior secondary school teaching experience desirable

Two years relevant work experience preferred

Varsity and JV Diving Coach
Holy Ghost Prep has an immediate opening for a varsity and JV diving coach. The candidate should have a desire to work with student-athletes, be enthusiastic, patient, organized, mature, dependable, and responsible. The candidate must be available for the times of meets, practices, and meetings. The candidate should have knowledge of the rules and fundamentals of diving and excellent communication skills. In addition, knowledge of the PIAA rules and diving or coaching experience is preferred.

Assistant Track and Field Coach Opening: Throws Coach, Indoor Track & Field and Outdoor Track & Field
- Reports to the athletic director
- 3-5 years coaching or relevant experience
- The hours are as follows:
- Indoor Track & Field: Beginning November, 2022 and ending approximately late February/Early March: Available from 2:45 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and for Saturday Invitationals or Meets
- Outdoor Track & Field: Beginning March, 2023 and ending Memorial Day Weekend: Available from 2:45 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and for Saturday Invitationals or Meets
- Will adhere to the philosophies of the head coach
- Will complete all required certifications and training as required by Holy Ghost Prep
