Director of Admissions
Director of Admissions
Holy Ghost Prep, an all-boys grades 9 through 12 college preparatory school in Bensalem, PA, seeks an Director of Admissions. The Director serves as the leader of the Holy Ghost Prep admissions process – from top of the funnel messaging and interest generation events, through application and enrollment. The Director, a member of the executive team, works closely with the President and the other executive team members to develop and implement a comprehensive and strategic approach to enrollment, recruitment and retention. The Director is the lead salesperson for the school. This is a goal and results-oriented position. The office has one direct report.
Essential Functions:
I. Marketing including:
- Formulate forward-thinking and strategic admissions and enrollment plan and policies.
- Identify, cultivate, visit all key and new markets and constituencies for the purposes of admissions marketing of Holy Ghost Prep.
- Communicate in a clear, concise, and compelling way, to all faculty and staff, prospective students, families and other key constituencies.
- Develop and manage all media - print and digital (web, video, email, and social media)
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Communications.
II. Recruitment and Retention including:
- Create and execute an admissions plan focused on building the optimal size applicant pool and enrolling a class based on board-approved goals – 115+ freshmen per year.
- Oversee and manage the entire admissions and enrollment management funnel
- Admission management – engaging, recruiting and tracking prospective students from applicant through enrollment; data and research
- Recruitment - Targeted engagement and relationship building with feeder schools, new markets, and all constituencies to attract new students.
- Events – Plans and manages public-facing events that includes but not limited to open house, information nights, Be First program, interviews, student shadow/visitations, etc.
- Retention – Work collaboratively with the Principal and faculty on direct retention activities.
III. Financial Aid and Scholarships including:
- Oversee the financial aid process and the merit scholarship process
- Partner with the CFO and the finance office in the review and allocation of all financial aid based awards. Help to ensure that we are on budget and can achieve our budgeted enrollment number.
- Coordinate the financial aid committee to ensure final review and sign off.
IV. Staff Supervision – Partner with, supervise and manage the Admissions Operations Manager
V. Executive Office including:
- Support the School and its leadership.
- Develop and manage the admissions budget.
- Provide admissions support, to the President (including talking points), to Board Committees, and the Board of Trustees.
- Serve as liaison to the enrollment marketing committee of the Board of Trustees.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Commitment to embracing Catholic education, specifically the mission of HGP
- A minimum of five years in a leadership role in admissions. Preference for secondary, independent school experience.
- Equivalent sales and marketing experience valued.
- Ability to learn and use admissions tools – (e.g. SchoolAdmin, Clarity, etc.)
- A team player and team builder that has a passion for and commitment to achieving excellence given the School’s mission. Respect for all colleagues.
- Proven success developing and managing and building relationships with a focus on prospective parents and their sons.
- Experience with boards is valued.
- Exceptional communication skills - verbal, writing, and editing.
- Strong ability to identify and resolve issues. Demonstrated leadership and effectiveness in developing a strategic vision and accomplishing organizational and financial goals.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel locally and attend evening and weekend events on and off campus

Forensics (Speech and Debate Coach)

Facilities/Maintenance Technician
Responsible for maintaining an attractive and sanitary facility and grounds to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the students, faculty and staff of Holy Ghost Preparatory School.
Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and for assisting the Facilities Director with campus-wide maintenance projects. Essential Functions:
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair
- Installs, troubleshoots , repairs and maintains electrical systems, including all campus lighting
- Basic plumbing and carpentry
- Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs
- Work overtime if emergencies arise in order to prevent disruption of the School
- Perform regular inspections of equipment and systems, reporting any abnormalities and hazards immediately
- Perform assignments relating to ensuring the School’s ability to safely open and function when assigned. This includes working cooperatively with custodial employees during emergency operations
- Remove snow and ice by shoveling, plowing, and/or sanding walks, driveways, parking areas, and steps so that safe conditions exist and the School can be opened in a timely manner
- Attends in-service training for the purpose of receiving information on new and/or improved procedures

Assistant High School Boys Rowing Coach
Holy Ghost Prep Rowing is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated assistant coach to assist with our boys rowing team. Coaches are expected to build within their athletes a strong sense of leadership, teamwork, accountability, and responsibility; demonstrating our culture on a daily basis. One Heart, One Mind, One Crew. We have a strong culture that embodies the love of rowing, the love of the process, which leads to great results. The assistant coach will help the program continually work towards becoming City Champions, Mid-Atlantic Champions and Youth Nationals contenders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under Leadership of Head Coach
- Organize and lead on-water practices and off-water practices; providing direct coaching and technical feedback, with a shared emphasis on individual and overall boat improvement.
- Supervising team and leading crews at regattas in the fall and spring
- Supervising and leading crews at learn to row camp in the summer.
- Be a role model that embodies the standards and values of our team, and provides positive leadership.
- Ensure every rower gets the attention and coaching that is needed to make rowing a rewarding experience.
- Ensure all applicable HGP policies, safety rules, and the school’s code of conduct are followed by all coaches and team members.
- Complete and stay up to date on SafeSport Training, in accordance with USRowing policies
Notes:
- Part-time contract position (no benefits).
- Practice sessions are typically Tues - Fri afternoons, and Saturday mornings; schedules can be flexible depending on coaches’ availability
- Winter training Mon-Thurs afternoons, weekends off expect for any team event or erg races
- Prefer Collegiate rowing experience or 4 years at competitive high school program as a varsity athlete.

Assistant Track and Field Coach Opening: Throws Coach, Indoor Track & Field and Outdoor Track & Field
- Reports to the athletic director
- 3-5 years coaching or relevant experience
- The hours are as follows:
- Indoor Track & Field: Beginning November, 2022 and ending approximately late February/Early March: Available from 2:45 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and for Saturday Invitationals or Meets
- Outdoor Track & Field: Beginning March, 2023 and ending Memorial Day Weekend: Available from 2:45 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and for Saturday Invitationals or Meets
- Will adhere to the philosophies of the head coach
- Will complete all required certifications and training as required by Holy Ghost Prep

Varsity Ultimate Frisbee Head Coach
Holy Ghost Prep, an all-boys, grades 9th through 12th college preparatory school in Bensalem, Pa., seeks a Varsity Ultimate Frisbee Head Coach. The Varsity head coach is required to oversee the entire HGP Ultimate Frisbee program, including all players on the Varsity and Junior Varsity rosters, the coaching staff and volunteers.
