Director of Major Gifts
Holy Ghost Prep, an all-boys, college preparatory school in Bensalem, PA for grades 9th through 12th, seeks a full-time Director of Major Gifts. The Director of Major Gifts will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 150 Holy Ghost Prep donors and prospects; focusing on cultivating relationships, soliciting major gifts, and stewarding donor families. With a strong emphasis
on securing new gifts and pledges, the Director of Major Gifts will spend 85% of their time engaging with high-level alumni and parents while securing funds for scholarship, capital needs, and the annual fund (Firebird Fund). Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the role involves strengthening ties between the school and key stakeholders, managing donor cultivation, and communicating with alumni, donors, and friends. Monthly visit, solicitation and commitment goals are a key component to this position.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years working in fundraising, development or related field (sales, business
development, etc.) - Successful candidates will have experience in major gift fundraising, volunteer management, and strong experience in the phases of moving a prospect through the giving cycle.
- Ability to travel 10+ days a month for donor cultivation and solicitation meetings, along
with some nights and weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of approximately 150 major gift prospects, including alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and other members of the Holy Ghost Prep community.
- Cultivation and Solicitation: Achieve a personal visit goal of 10 visits per month. Develop and implement personalized strategies for cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major gifts ranging from $10,000 to $250,000 to support scholarships, financial aid endowment, and capital projects in support of Holy Ghost Prep’s strategic plan and capital campaign. In addition, soliciting gifts ranging from $500 to $5,000 in support of the annual Firebird Fund.
- Prospect Identification: Identify and qualify new prospects through research, networking, event attendees, and collaboration with colleagues, utilizing the school's Raiser's Edge donor database to track interactions and moves along the donor engagement cycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, Trustees and Development Committee volunteers, and the Development team to align major gift strategies with school fundraising goals and priorities.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, effectively communicating Holy Ghost Preparatory Prep’s mission.
- Event Participation: Represent Holy Ghost Prep at events, meetings, and alumni & parent gatherings to promote awareness and build relationships within the school community.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain complete and timely records of contacts with prospects and volunteers through the school’s CRM, Raiser's Edge.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in major gift fundraising.

Director of Annual Giving and Alumni, Office of Development
Holy Ghost Preparatory School seeks a full-time Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement (Director) to successfully execute and manage the School’s Annual Fund - The Firebird Fund - and Alumni engagement activities of the school. Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the Director is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing a successful annual giving program to raise unrestricted and restricted dollars for Holy Ghost Prep, via the Firebird Fund annual appeal that include Days of Giving and personal individual outreach to alumni and parents. The Director will also manage and coordinate the HGP Alumni Association Board to support strong engagement with our alumni base in multiple facets of the school. The ideal candidate will have a record of accomplishment in annual giving fundraising or related fundraising that reflects a track record of achieving revenue benchmarks and goals. As the Director of Annual Giving, you will:
1. Lead and Grow the Firebird Fund (time spent - 75%): Develop and execute strategies that increase both participation and revenue, positioning the Firebird Fund as the foundation of philanthropy at HGP.
2. Cultivate Donor Relationships: Build and maintain strong connections with donors-particularly at the leadership level-guiding them through meaningful engagement and stewardship to build the philanthropic pipeline.
3. Leverage Digital appeals and platforms to drive revenue: Using available digital tools and platforms such as social media, email, school website, and more to drive engagements and solicitations resulting in revenue for the appeals
4. Data and Innovation: Use analytics, metrics, and creative approaches, including new technologies, to inform strategies, improve donor retention, and drive growth.
5. Engage Volunteers and Stakeholders: Collaborate with alumni, parents, colleagues, and volunteers to amplify campaigns, inspire participation, and champion annual giving across the community.
6. Communicate Impactfully: Craft compelling messages about the Firebird Fund, ensuring donors and volunteers understand the mission, impact, and importance of their support.
7. Drive Results with Discipline: Set ambitious goals, track progress, and maintain accountability while celebrating successes and building momentum for future initiatives.

Education, Experience, and Skills required:

Manager of Special Events and Stewardship
Holy Ghost Preparatory School seeks a Manager of Special Events and Stewardship (24 hours per week) to manage the event activities of our office along with aspects of our Donor Stewardship program. As an integral part of the Development Office staff, the Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of the school’s TWO revenue-driven events; the fall HGP Golf Classic and the Spring Auction. The Manager will also be responsible for planning duties related to Class Reunions, The President’s Scholarship Reception, Grandparents Mass, Mass of the Holy Spirit, and select Alumni gatherings, in addition to several smaller engagement and stewardship events. This position reports to the Executive Director of Development with interactions across the entire HGP staff and community. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of our annual Stewardship program for the Development Office which entails written communications and fostering relationships between our donors and scholarship students as the final phase of the donor cycle. As the Manager of Special Events, you will:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our TWO revenue-driven events, including the HGP Golf Classic (fall) and the Spring Auction (spring).
- Coordinate and oversee all Alumni, parent, and grandparent events along with duties related to other school-wide events on campus
- Work with the Dir. Of Annual Giving and Alumni to coordinate strategies for all alumni events, including alumni reunions and alumni games
- Plan and manage several donor appreciation events throughout the year
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate the quality and performance of approved vendors
- Maintain accurate budgeting and reconciliation of all event expenses, timely vendor payments, and internal budget management
- Provide consistent guidance to assigned committees, and volunteers who support fundraising events referenced above
- Support event marketing efforts, including invitations (hard copy and digital), assisting with photos, event recaps, website, and print materials
- Routine evening and weekend work is required, based on the events calendar
Education, Experience, and Skills required:

Ultimate Frisbee Head Coach
Holy Ghost Prep, an all-boys, grades 9th through 12th college preparatory school in Bensalem, Pa., seeks a Varsity Ultimate Head Coach. The Varsity head coach is required to oversee the entire HGP Ultimate program, including all players on the Varsity and Junior Varsity rosters, the coaching staff and volunteers.
Ideal Candidates will possess:
- Prior high school coaching experience (preferred)
- Prior playing experience in the high school, collegiate, or professional level (preferred)
- A strong familiarity and relationships with other Ultimate programs, coaches and players in the area

Varsity and JV Diving Coach
Holy Ghost Prep has an immediate opening for a varsity and JV diving coach. The candidate should have a desire to work with student-athletes, be enthusiastic, patient, organized, mature, dependable, and responsible. The candidate must be available for the times of meets, practices, and meetings. The candidate should have knowledge of the rules and fundamentals of diving and excellent communication skills. In addition, knowledge of the PIAA rules and diving or coaching experience is preferred.
