13 HGP students qualify for National Spanish Honor Society

Thirteen Holy Ghost Prep students are members of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, a national honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.

Peaking at the right time

The Holy Ghost Prep basketball team, led by a game-high 21 points from Greg Calvin, captured a share of the Bicentennial League’s Independence Division title with a 71-39 win over MaST Charter on Feb. 7. With the win, Holy Ghost Prep (16-6 overall, 12-2 BAL) captured its first BAL crown since 2012.

Tony Chapman’s No. 20 is retired

On Jan. 26, legendary hoops coach Tony Chapman '71 will make history again when his uniform number is officially retired. Chapman’s No. 20 will never be worn by a Ghost hoops player again—marking the first time that a number has ever been retired by the school.
