The first lesson we teach at Holy Ghost Prep: Think differently.
Beth Bruno teaches her ecology students about sustainability by having them transform a household item ticketed to be tossed away into something useful for the school. Tony Figliola’s classes enjoy award-winning play performances from all over the globe—without leaving the county—thanks to simulcasts at local movie theaters. Mike Pappadakis has his students build mouse trap cars. That’s what classes are like here at Holy Ghost Prep. Different. Creative. Energized. We want our students to go for the deeper understanding—of themselves, their classmates, and beyond. We challenge our nearly 500 boys to learn a world that’s more than calculus, Spanish, or robotics. We show them how to think differently and nimbly. We teach them how to hone their unique gifts, so they can, in turn, change the world.
