You will only be assigned work for classes listed for each day. The times listed in parentheses next to each subject are times in which your teachers may conduct a Zoom, Meet, or timed assessment. That does not mean you’ll be in a virtual meeting the entire time or you can only work on that subject during that time. The time windows are for planning purposes, primarily so you’re not double-booked in two Zooms at once or have two timed assessments at the same time. For each day your class meets, teachers will post what specific time you’ll have a Zoom, Meet, or timed assessment in their morning Schoology Update. It’ll be within the window listed for each subject. It might be 10 minutes or it might be an hour, depending on what your teacher has planned for that day. You will have at least one Zoom/Meet per week with each of your teachers.
Co-curriculars: Art, Music, Comp Sci, Drama, Engineering, and Guidance
You are expected to do 1 hour of work per week if you take an art, music, computer science, drama, or engineering co-curricular course.
If you take a co-curricular, your teacher will post an assignment to Schoology on Monday by 9am and it will due on Friday at 8pm.

Student Expectations for Cyber Learning
Posting: All Updates and assignments will be posted to Schoology between 8:00am and 9:00am. Updates will include the day’s assignment and what time your Zoom/Meet/timed assessment will be (if applicable). You will only be assigned work on days you meet a class.
Universal Deadline: All assignments will be due to Schoology at 8pm. You will only have things due on the days you meet a class.
Zoom/Meet: You are required to attend a 10- to 15-minute (minimum) Zoom/Meet “check-in” for each class on at least one of the days it meets each week. Your teachers will communicate to you (in their morning Schoology Update) what time your virtual meetings are.
Time Windows: The times listed in parentheses on the grade level schedules are time frames in which you might attend a Zoom, Meet, or have a timed assessment for each class. This time window does not mean you’ll be in a virtual meeting the entire time or you can only work on that subject during that time. It is for planning purposes and so you’re not double-booked in two Zooms at once or have two timed assessments at the same time. Your teachers will post what specific time you’ll have a Zoom, Meet, or timed assessment in their morning Schoology Update.
Office Hours: For each class, your teacher’s Office Hours window is the time you meet with that class on Zoom/Meet. That could be anywhere from 10-15 minutes to 2 hours a week, depending on how you run your Zoom meetings. You can directly ask your teacher questions and address concerns during the Zoom/Meet. Outside of that window, you should not expect an immediate response from your teacher. You can certainly still contact them, but please allow 24 hours for a teacher to respond.
Workload: The workload expectation for each class is 1 hour per meeting day TOTAL. This includes the time you spend on Zoom/Meet and classwork/homework. This means that you are expected to do 2 total hours of work per week for each class.
AP Workload: AP students can expect up to 1 hour 30 minutes of work per meeting day for each AP class. This equals 3 total hours of work per week for each AP class.
Absences: If you are too ill to complete your cyber assignments for the day, your parents must call the Main Office by 9:30am and leave a voicemail.
Communication from Teachers: Your parents will get a Sunday night email to with rough plan for the week. You will also get a morning Schoology Update on the days your class meets with the assignment for the day and what time your Zoom/Meet/timed assessment will be (if applicable).
