Computer Science and Engineering

The Computer Science Department offers courses in simple and advanced programming, engineering, web page design, and other advanced topics.  Almost every field today – from the arts and media to lab sciences – requires some understanding of computing and problem solving. Computer Science can help students understand how computing and technology influence the world around them. Students will learn how to creatively address real-world issues while using the same design processes and tools that artists, writers, computer scientists, and engineers use to bring ideas to life.

The emphasis in this department is to use the Engineering Design Process to prepare students for a successful collegiate experience.
