Meet the College Guidance Team

Director of College Guidance
Ms. AnnMarie Dougherty

AnnMarie joined the HGP community in July 2013. Prior to coming to HGP, AnnMarie spent 12 years in the guidance department at Mount Saint Joseph Academy, 10 years as a college counselor and two years as the Director of Guidance.  AnnMarie has been a 15-year member of both the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC).  AnnMarie was also the Director of Career Development at DeSales University, her alma mater, for six years.  AnnMarie earned a B.S. in marketing from DeSales University and a M.Ed in PsychoEducational Processes from Temple University.  What AnnMarie enjoys most about college counseling is developing positive relationships with students and helping them find their best-fit college.  
 
 
 
Associate Director of College Guidance
Mrs. Grace Opdyke

Grace joined the HGP community in August 2020. She came to Holy Ghost Prep after working for three years at Villa Maria Academy, Malvern in the College Counseling department. Grace is owner, tutor, and counselor at Grace Opdyke Educational Services, Inc. in Blue Bell where she has guided students through the college search and admission process for over 17 years. Mrs. Opdyke is a member of both the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) and the Pennsylvania Association of College Admissions Counselors (PACAC). Grace received her B.S Ed. from Gwynedd Mercy University and will complete her Masters in Educational Leadership at Saint Joseph's University in December 2020. She brings a new component to the HGP College Guidance office with her background in SAT and ACT test preparation.
 
 
College Counseling Coordinator
Terry Kudla

Terry joined the College Guidance team in July 2015 as the department coordinator.  She is primarily responsible for the processing of transcripts and scores through Scoir to the students' respective colleges, as well as the tracking of scholarship dollars and statistical information for each class.  Terry has been at HGP since August 2006, working in the President’s Office.
