Learn to Fly: Firebirds Entrance Exam Prep

Enroll in our brand-new HSPT prep program. This exclusive program is only available to 25 8th graders who are looking to improve their entrance test scores. Learn to Fly will be led by our Associate Director of College Guidance, Grace Opdyke. The program will run from 4:00-7:00 pm in our Founders Hall library on the following dates: October 7-9 and October 13-15. The total cost for Learn to Fly will be $350 (all materials and books are included).

Eighth grade students are encouraged to spend a day with a current student.  Visitations are scheduled Monday through Friday with a limited number of visiting students each day.

On FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2025 HGP will host Bring Your Brother to School Day.

Registration to begin in September.

Bring Your Brother to School Day is exclusively for current students and their younger brothers in 6th, 7th or 8th grades.  Participants must be biologically or legally related brothers to participate.  Cousins, neighbors, friends, etc are not eligible.   Seniors with brothers in grades other than 6, 7 or 8 can be granted an exception to the age rule by making a request to the admissions office.

Students and brothers must spend the day together; arrive at 8:00am and depart at 2:30pm.  There will be a number of activities throughout the day to highlight our visitors.  The day will begin with a morning meeting.

Brothers should dress in the HGP school uniform (or) their grade school uniform.

HGP Open House - October 7, 2025 - 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

HGP Information Program is a nuts-and-bolts conversation about Holy Ghost Prep.  Different from open houses and tours, this event provides a detailed and in-depth look at the school, our mission, and our programs.

Parents and students in any grade are invited to attend and learn about:

• The Application and Admission process
• Merit and Need-Based Scholarships
• Transportation and Logistics
• Academic Statistics and College Matriculation Information
• Athletics and Activities
• Service, Mission and Faith

The night also includes time for questions and answers.

HGP Open House - Sunday, October 19, 2025 - 10am to 1pm

In October, HGP's holds its Open House as an interactive experience that allows families to visit one or many different programs while on campus.  Families can learn about our academic programs, athletic teams, service programs, study-abroad opportunities and much more.

The HGP financial aid night is to help families understand the process of need based financial aid.  This will include:

• An overview of the application process.
• How awards are determined and why they might differ between schools.
• The HGP timeline for award notifications.

The night also includes time for questions and answers.

Montgomery Scholars Program Information Night

Join us for an information session about our learning support program. The Montgomery Scholars Program provides extra academic support and intervention to HGP students who are accepted into the program.

This is an event for prospective parents of students in need of learning supports.

Each year, Holy Ghost Prep offers students in 6th and 7th grades to the chance to take a practice entrance exam.

Seventh grade students also have the possibility of being invited to participate in our Be First Program - HGP's early decision and scholarship program.

6:30pm-7:30pm - Campus Tours  Get a glimpse of our beautiful 52 acre campus, and visit some of our signature programs.
