INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD
2019-20 season recap: Mark Staudenmeier is the head coach of our indoor track and field team. He is ably assisted by Gil Bainbridge, Ed Camacho, Mike Ginnetti, Mike Meistering, Hugh Mundy, John Mundy, and Joe Pargola.

Matt Ginnetti will compete for the track and field team at the University of Scranton next year.
HGP is a member of the Greater Philadelphia Track & Field Coaches Association. Six team members qualified for the Meet of Champions, some in multiple events: Alex Borda ’20, Antonio Camacho ’21, Mitchell Feyl ’20, Matt Ginnetti ’20, John Horgan ’21, and Elliot Puckett ’21.
2020 Meet of Champion results:
Matt Ginnetti – Pole Vault – 13th place
Distance medley relay team of John Horgan, Alex Borda, Mitchell Feyl, Elliot Puckett – 11th place
4x800 team of Antonio Camacho, John Horgan, Mitchell Feyl, Elliot Puckett – 13th place
The 4x800 and distance medley relay teams were ranked among the top teams in the state throughout most of the year. The 4x800m relay team of Alex Borda, Mitchell Feyl, John Horgan, and Elliot Puckett competed in the state championship, finishing 12th overall.
TEAM AWARD
The Indoor Track and Field Team Sportsmanship Award is presented to the member of the varsity team who embodies our mission statement on and off the field, and sets the best example of the character of the Holy Ghost Prep athlete. This year’s winner is Alexander Borda.
