Holy Ghost Preparatory School Athletic Hall of Fame Requirements

Participation in or contribution through service to interscholastic sports at Holy Ghost Prep.

Individual excellence in athletic competition or extraordinary service to a sport.

Candidates demonstrated superior athletic qualities or service to athletics while maintaining sportsmanship and character both in and out of athletic competition.

Has been an alumnus of Holy Ghost Prep for at least ten years.

Is a person of high moral character and positive community involvement.

A sport must have existed for 10 years before anyone can be nominated.
PROCEDURES:

Hall of Fame Committee Members may nominate candidates on an annual basis.

Along with his nomination, a brief summary of the candidate’s qualifications and background should be included.

Nominations will then be discussed by the Hall of Fame Committee, who will review the qualifications. A vote will be taken for approval or denial. Majority voting will be used. The nominees are then given to the President of HGP for final review and approval.

Notifications to approved inductees are sent soon after Presidential approval.
Hall of Fame Inductees will be honored at a banquet every other winter.
