More Info To Answer Some Popular Questions:

(1) Do I need to complete any forms?

Yes, even though hockey is not a PIAA sport, we still follow the rules for physicals. You must complete the CIPPE 1-6 and the player contract. Anyone that is playing soccer, cross country and golf only need to complete the 7, 8 and 9 form.

(2) Will there be a parent meeting?

Yes, after tryouts are complete.

(3) How long do I have to pay the hockey player fees?

You should complete these payments prior to the first day of tryouts. If your son does not make the team or chooses not to play, we will refund your payment.

(4) Do I need to register for USA Hockey?

Yes, you do. After you complete that process, please send me a copy of the PDF you get back as an email. Most people have not done this....please do it now.

All at Grundy. All 330-430. Transportation provided by HGP to Grundy.

Game schedule is not available yet....yes, I find that incredibly frustrating too.

All players, returning and new, will need to complete the Impact Concussion Testing. It does not matter if you've completed this with a club team. If you take it for a fall sport, you do no need to do it again. More information will be provided on the day for hockey players to take the test. It will be before tryouts.

Players participating in soccer, cross country, golf or rowing are not allowed to participate in or tryout for ice hockey until that season is completed. If you want to play those sports, PLAY THOSE SPORTS. There is no penalty for trying out for hockey after the fall season ends.
