More Info To Answer Some Popular Questions:

(1) You Are A Returning Player and Want to Change Your Number?

If you are a returning player and want to change your number, you will need to purchase a new Red jersey for $100. You can accomplish this by completing the following two steps:

Step 1: Send Mr. Abramson an email explaining that you are changing your number and wish to get a red jersey.

Step 2: Go to the hockey fee page by clicking here and paying $100.

(2) I am a new or returning player, when do I need to get my order in for a new uniform?

Now...ASAP....before August 23.

(3) I am a new or returning player, when do I need I need to have my PIAA physical completed by?

Even though hockey is not a PIAA sport, you are still required to complete the HGP Athletics forms. You can learn more about those by clicking here. (You must submit these completed forms before the first day of tryouts).

(4) Do I need to register for USA Hockey?

Yes, you do. After you complete that process, please send me a copy of the PDF you get back as an email.

(5) What's the deal with the Stanley Cup?

The Stanley Cup is visiting HGP during the first week of school. It is not an open to the public event. It is an event for current players and current students and staff. There will be news media present to cover the event.

(6) My buddy just decided he wants to come to HGP, what do I do?

The admissions office is a 24/7,365 day operation. Tell him to get in touch with us. (Yes, this really happened today).

For planning purposes:

Optional: Open Skates After School: 9/20/17 & 9/27/17

Tryouts: 10/3/17, 10/4/17, 10/5/17

All at Grundy. All 330-430. Transportation provided by HGP to Grundy.

All players, returning and new, will need to complete the Impact Concussion Testing. It does not matter if you've completed this with a club team. If you take it for a fall sport, you do no need to do it again. More information will be provided on the day for hockey players to take the test. It will be before tryouts.

Players participating in soccer, cross country, golf or rowing are not allowed to participate in or tryout for ice hockey until that season is completed. If you want to play those sports, PLAY THOSE SPORTS. There is no penalty for trying out for hockey after the fall season ends.
