Tuesday, October 7th – 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Tuesday, October 21st – 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Tuesday, November 4th – 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Tuesday, November 18th – 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Saturday, December 6th – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm *BY INVITATION*
§ The math sessions will cover introductory pre-algebraic and algebraic concepts.
§ The Saturday morning sessions will be mini math modeling competitions where the students are broken up into teams with top HGP math students.
§ Word problems, lessons on algebraic concepts, teamwork in solving problems, projects, and math games will be covered during the Tuesday afternoon sessions.
§ The math sessions are valuable test preparation for 7th & 8th grade Entrance Exams and Placement tests.
§ There is no cost for these sessions. Students who attend at least two of the sessions will be invited to the final Session on Saturday, December 6th to participate in the math modeling competition.
