During a time when many independent and Catholic schools are experiencing declines in enrollment, Holy Ghost Prep remains an attractive choice for area families.

Holy Ghost Prep welcomes 124 students in its Class of 2020, along with seven new transfer students into its other high school classes. With the addition of these transfer students entering 10th and 10th grades, HGP's net retention is above 100%—well outpacing the national average for independent day schools in the United States.

Holy Ghost’s second consecutive robust admissions year and stellar retention rate brings the school’s total enrollment to 485 students, a significant rise from the 449 students on campus in 2014.

The Class of 2020 comes to Holy Ghost Prep from 54 different grade schools and middle schools. Fifty percent of the freshmen class is receiving need or merit-based scholarship money, and HGP’s Class of 2020 is made up of students from Bucks County (64 percent of the class), Philadelphia (22 percent), New Jersey (seven percent) and Montgomery County (seven percent).

Armed with these traits, Holy Ghost Prep graduates are annually sought after by some of the world’s most admired colleges and universities. Fifty-three percent of Holy Ghost’s Class of 2016 will attend colleges and universities that are ranked in the U.S. News and World Report’s National Top 100. The Class of 2016 is attending 45 different colleges in 16 different states and Ireland.
