Strong turnout for forenics reunion Eighty members of the HGP family returned to campus on June 10 to attend Holy Ghost Prep’s forensics reunion. The event had the feel of a family reunion as HGP alums spanning multiple decades traded old war stories and shared laughs aplenty.

Job openings Maintainance staff HGP is seeking a dependable person to join our maintenance staff. This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday-Friday 10am – 6pm. Development Assistant, Office of Development: Part-time (20 hours/week) Holy Ghost Prep High School seeks a part-time Development Assistant to support the overall operations and outreach of the school's Office of Development. The Development Assistant (DA) supports the inside operations and execution of all HGP Development Office administrative activities. The DA will primarily focus on donation gift entry and acknowledgements, constituent updates executed through the Raiser’s Edge fundraising software. The DA will also support duties associated with HGP events and alumni relations activities in addition to donor stewardship, grant coordination, and scheduling of staff related meetings. The DA will also support general Development Office administrative tasks as they arise such as data hygiene projects, invoice and billing preparations, campaign pledge reminder statements, filing and coordination for various meetings, etc. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, attentive, pleasant, and professional and have successful experience working in a team environment. Excellent organizational and technology skills required. Must have an advanced level of experience with MS Office Suite (specifically PPT, excel, word), and some social media. Experience with the Raisers Edge Software is a significant plus. Access medical forms on HGP's Health page Ann Bushek, R.N., our school nurse, has continued to keep our students safe, and most importantly, HEALTHY this school year! She has also created a new Health page on our school’s website. On this page, our HGP parents can quickly access forms for school such as asthma, severe allergy, and medication, as well as accessing the 11th grade physical and immunizations form. Mothers' Guild News 2017 Mothers’ Guild Craft Show - Volunteers Needed for Committee Positions HGP Mothers’ Guild runs the most successful craft show in the area. Planning has already begun for the 2017 craft show, which will take place on November 11th & 12th. At this time, we are recruiting a Committee Co-chair for Cafe. In addition, “shadows” are needed for Relief, Cafe, and Baskets. The shadow volunteers will learn from this year’s chairs with the goal of becoming a chair in 2018. Lunch accounts -- Class of 2017 students If you are the parent of a graduating senior who participates in the online lunch payment program Pay for It, please go onto the program and turn off the auto refill function. Aramark has started to refund the students' accounts. If you are an HGP family that has a younger siblings attending here, the balance gets transferred into the younger sibling's account. Otherwise, we put the refund money in an envelope that your son will receive at graduation. If you have any questions, email Kellie Bonner at Bonner-Kellie@aramark.com.
Summer Rock Band Camp Camp Dates: July 10 to July 14, 2017 Camp Times: 2:00-5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday Camp Instructors: Pete Devine and William Marconi Camp Cost $175 per camper Contact: pdevine@holyghostprep.org The HGP Summer Music Camp will take place in our newly renovated and air-conditioned Music Technology Studio and include instructors Peter Devine and Wlliam Marconi. This Summer Program is open to boys and girls, grades 6, 7, and 8, as well as to high school boys and girls. Large Ensemble, music theory, individual coaching and small ensembles are all part of this learning experience.
