We hope that you had a blessed Easter and that you are taking some time to re-energize and recharge over spring break. During this time, we hope your sons continue to take advantage of our optional breakthrough programming. To date, we've had over 150 students involved!
Gov. Tom Wolf's announcement last week that all schools will be closed for the rest of the academic year was made to ensure the safety and health of all residents of our state. But it was nonetheless upsetting to our students and our faculty—particularly our graduating seniors.
But true to our Spiritan charism to meet your sons where they are, we will do everything in our power to ensure that the Class of 2020's signature events will take place.
If the restrictions are lifted in June, the Class of 2020 signature celebrations will be held on the following dates: June 24: Junior/Senior Prom June 25: Graduation Practice and Senior Class Portrait (in college T-shirts) June 26: Baccalaureate Mass June 27: Commencement
We will continue to monitor the situation and if we need to move these key senior events later into the summer, we will.
We have a few additional announcements:
Please enjoy the remainder of spring break, and we will be in touch again on Friday, April 17.
In One Heart and One Mind,
Gregory J. Geruson '79 President
Kevin Burke Principal
