Dear Holy Ghost Prep families,

This week, we will celebrate our senior parade through campus on May 30, finalize our Ghost Summer programs and course offerings, continue work on scenario planning for the fall, and welcome our Class of 2024 tomorrow evening with the next in a series of virtual orientation events.

Again, thank you for your support of our Spiritan mission, congratulations to our seniors, and we look forward to when we're physically together again.

As always, we have a few announcements:

Senior Parade: We look forward to seeing all seniors in the graduation parade through campus on Saturday, May 30, starting at 10 a.m. The rain date will be Sunday, May 31 at the same time. Please click here for pertinent parade instructions.

Class of 2024: We welcome our new students and families to This is Ghost: The First Year Experience Begins! This a virtual orientation event for the Class of 2024 and will be live streamed on Thursday, May 28 at 6 p.m. This freshman orientation event can be accessed via Facebook Live or by accessing our YouTube Channel by clicking here.

Summer Course Offerings: Information on the Ghost Summer course offerings and enrichment opportunities will be shared in our May 29 message.

Senior Send-Off Video: On Friday morning, we will be releasing a video tribute to HGP's Class of 2020 to celebrate their accomplishments. The two-part video captures the heart and spirit of the Class of 2020 and includes personal farewells from some of our teachers and staff. We can't wait for you to see it!

COVID-19 Relief Grants: Holy Ghost Prep has launched its COVID-19 Relief Grant program to help current and incoming families financially affected by the coronavirus crisis. To learn more about the program or to apply for a grant, click here.

Pentecost Sunday Mass: Father Dan Sormani, will be celebrating Pentecost Sunday Mass on May 30-31, 2020, beginning Saturday at 4:30 p.m. on our YouTube Channel, which can be accessed by clicking here.

Last Locker Clean-Out Day: We will hold our final locker clean-out day from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. tomorrow for the Class of 2023. That locker clean-out day will be held in accordance with all social distancing procedures and approved safety protocols (e.g. masks required). The assigned time slots and all info is posted on the Class of 2023 Schoology Class page.

Class Food Drives: Thank you so much for your generosity. As part of the locker clean-out days, we encouraged our students to bring non-perishable food items and paper products to donate to our neighbors at the Harvest Ministries Food Bank at Cornwells Methodist Church. We have been able to donate multiple vans-full of items to Harvest Ministries, a non-profit, charitable organization that distributes food to Bensalem residents in need.

Email communications: Friday's communication will be our final for the school year. Starting next week and for the rest of the summer, we will provide weekly emails that will come out each Monday morning.

We may be apart physically, but know that we all continue to be in this together. We remain deeply grateful for the countless ways so many of you have found to nurture our Spiritan values and sense of unity.
