Holy Ghost Preparatory School Mothers' Guild

Founded in 1966, the Holy Ghost Preparatory School Mothers' Guild has proudly supported the HGP community for nearly six decades by fostering fellowship, service, and school spirit among its members. The Guild exists to provide social, cultural, spiritual, and material support to both its members and the school. Membership is automatically extended to all mothers and guardians of current HGP students, as well as alumni mothers who choose to remain active in our community.

The Mothers' Guild meets on the first Monday of each month during the school year (with the exception of January). We begin our evenings with Mass in the Chapel at 7 p.m., followed by a meeting and social gathering in the Dining Hall. If you are unable to attend Mass, you are warmly invited to join us for the meeting portion of the evening, which typically begins around 7:30 p.m.

Our monthly meetings are a wonderful way to stay informed about life at HGP, learn about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, and connect with fellow HGP moms. Whether you are a new family or a seasoned member of the community, these gatherings offer an opportunity to build friendships, share experiences, and become more engaged in your son's high school journey. As an added bonus, members in attendance are entered into a cash drawing at each meeting.

As a service organization, the Mothers' Guild proudly hosts and supports many cherished traditions throughout the academic year, including:

·         Welcome Mothers' Tea

·         Junior Ring Mass Reception

·         Christmas Dinner

·         Mother/Son Event

·         Graduation Reception

·         Events Honoring Senior and Alumni Mothers

In addition, we host the highly anticipated Annual Craft Show, the Mothers' Guild's signature fundraising event, which provides significant support for the school and its programs.

One of the greatest strengths of the Mothers' Guild is the opportunity it provides for meaningful involvement in the HGP community. Whether you have a few hours to volunteer at an event or are interested in taking on a larger leadership role, there is a place for everyone. Every contribution—large or small—helps strengthen our community and enrich the experience of HGP students and families.

Whether your son is just beginning his HGP journey or preparing for graduation, the Mothers' Guild offers a wonderful opportunity to connect, contribute, and create lasting memories. Many of our members will tell you that some of their most meaningful friendships and favorite HGP memories began through their involvement with the Guild. We hope you will join us.
