BAKE SALE VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Calling All Bakers!
We need your help to fill our Bake Tables at the HGP Holiday Craft Show!
The HGP Holiday Craft Show is our largest fundraising event of the school year, and it takes our entire village of families to make it a true success! That’s why we need your help to fill our Bake Tables this November. To that end, we ask that each HGP family (parents, grandparents, aunts, etc.) please make and drop off three (3) baked good items (of their choice) to the Holt Center.
As moms, we understand if baking during the week is one task too many, but we always need more baked goods for the sale by Sunday! And Grab-and-Go items sell fast, so easy-to-make and assemble treats like chocolate covered pretzels and rice krispie treats are always appreciated. The 2025 dropoff times are:
- Friday, November 7th: 3pm-7pm
- Saturday, November 8th: 8am-11am
- Sunday, November 9th: 9am-11am
Helpful Hints
Get Fancy! Display your baked goods on a decorative plate or use a piece of sturdy cardboard wrapped in foil (the cardboard, not the treat). A doily under the treat adds a nice touch, too! Please wrap your goods with clear cellophane and be creative--add holiday-themed ribbons, bows, or decorations to make your items festive. Do NOT put baked items on plates or trays that you want back.
Small items for our grab-and-go counter (such as cookies, brownies, cupcakes, muffins, treat bars, or chocolate covered pretzels) can be wrapped individually in clear treat bags or bundled in quantities of 3-6 items in decorative boxes.
Bake Sale Favorites: Gluten Free Items, Jewish Apple Cakes, Pound Cakes, Coffee Cakes, Pizzelles, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Brownies, Pies, Cupcakes, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Pumpkin, Zucchini, and Banana Breads.
Clearly label any ingredients that are allergens (nuts, gluten, etc.)
