Mothers' Guild Welcome Letter

On behalf of the Holy Ghost Prep Mothers’ Guild, I am delighted to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year.

One of the things I love most about the Mothers’ Guild is that every mother and guardian of an HGP student is automatically a member. Whether your son is just beginning his Holy Ghost Prep journey or preparing for graduation, there is a place for you here. Our community is built on connection, friendship, support, and shared experiences as we navigate these important years alongside our sons.

We are excited to kick off the year with our Mothers’ Guild Welcome Tea on Sunday, September 27, at 11 a.m. This special gathering celebrates both current and new Guild members, with a special welcome to our incoming freshman and transfer moms while celebrating the mothers and guardians who help make our community so special.

The Welcome Tea is a wonderful opportunity to meet other women in the HGP community, reconnect with familiar faces, and learn more about the Mothers’ Guild in a relaxed and welcoming setting. There is no better way to begin the school year than together.  Please save the date and watch for an email invitation and RSVP link in the coming weeks. 

The Mothers’ Guild meets monthly throughout the school year, typically on the first Monday of each month. Our meetings offer opportunities for fellowship, friendship, and connection while keeping you informed through engaging presentations from Holy Ghost Prep's administration and staff. The evening begins with Mass at 7 p.m. in the Chapel, followed by our gathering in the Dining Hall. Several meetings include dinner as we celebrate special milestones, traditions, and members of our community throughout the year.

While membership in the Guild is automatic, we invite families to consider an annual contribution that helps offset the costs of meetings, programs, and events that directly benefit our boys. To learn more, please click here.

One of the highlights of the year is our annual Holiday Craft Show, which will take place on November 14 and 15. Widely recognized as one of the premier events of its kind in the area, the Craft Show brings together talented artisans, dedicated parents, and countless volunteers in support of Holy Ghost Prep. Thanks to the generosity and hard work of our community, the Mothers’ Guild has contributed more than $50,000 annually back to the school in recent years.

The success of this event depends on the time, talents, and enthusiasm of our parent community, and there are opportunities for everyone to get involved. Whether you can volunteer for an hour or a weekend, we would love to have you join us. The Craft Show is truly one of the signature traditions of Holy Ghost Prep and a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families while supporting our school community.

The Mothers’ Guild offers countless opportunities to become involved, build friendships, and make lasting memories while supporting our sons and the Holy Ghost Prep community.

The Mothers' Guild is more than an organization—it is a community of women who support one another, celebrate our sons, and contribute to the traditions that make Holy Ghost Prep such a special place. We are always stronger when new voices, friendships, and perspectives become part of our story.

Welcome to a new year at Holy Ghost Prep and within the Mothers' Guild. This season is not only an exciting chapter for our sons, but also an opportunity for us to build meaningful connections, deepen friendships, and create lasting memories together.
