COVID-19 Policies and Recommendations

Please remember that with COVID, we must always be prepared to make adjustments as circumstances change.

For any interested students, we have arranged for Rite Aid to come to campus on Friday, February 11 to administer COVID-19 boosters. Rite Aid will offer J&J, Pfizer, and Moderna boosters. They will be on campus in the Firebird Fieldhouse lobby from 10:00 a.m. until noon.

Get vaccinated/boosted: As a secondary school and with the majority of our students, faculty and staff vaccinated, we continue to strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated and boosted as soon as possible. There is widespread agreement in the scientific and medical community that this is the best way to keep our Spiritan community safe. It is also supported by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Papal See.  Use this tool to find a free COVID-19 vaccination site in your area.

Masks: Masks are recommended for individuals indoors regardless of vaccination status.

Transportation: For all HGP provided and non-HGP provided bus transportation, masks are required.

Classes: All classes will be taught in person. Students who are absent will not be provided synchronous online learning. Instead, we will provide teacher support (asynchronously) as we have done pre-pandemic.

Symptoms: For the safety and well-being of our campus, all members of this community who are sick or have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 must stay home, contact their medical professional, and promptly seek a diagnostic COVID test. Please be sure to notify Mrs. Ann Bushek at nurse@holyghostprep.org with the results.

Testing:  Students who exhibit COVID-19 symptoms are eligible for free testing via this program or use this tool to find free COVID-19 testing locations in your area.
