Key bowlers lost to graduation: Joey Connor

Top returnees: Sophomores Karl Hussey, Curt Hussey, and Eric Burns; junior Nathan Frey

Varsity newcomers to know: Freshman Daniel Marchesani

2023-24 season outlook: Holy Ghost Prep head bowling coach Norm Muller has one of the area’s top young bowlers, sophomore Karl Hussey, to build his program around the next three seasons. Last season, Hussey finished 25^th out of the 144 bowlers at the Pennsylvania regional championships with a five-game total score of 1,025. The good news is that Karl could have company at regionals this year. His brother Curt is a talented bowler and came within a whisker of qualifying for regionals last year, while junior Nathan Frey has been steadily improving and has a legitimate chance at qualifying for the regional championship too.
