HGP Reception Celebrates
Private Support for Student Scholarships
Nearly a hundred members of the Holy Ghost Prep community joined together in Founders’ Hall on October 30 as the School recognized private philanthropic support at the inaugural President’s Reception for Donors and Scholars.
Among the students in attendance were recipients of many of the funds made possible by generous private contributions from alumni, parents, faculty and friends. For most, it was a first-time opportunity for donors to meet current HGP students who have benefitted most from charitable giving. Currently, approximately one-third of HGP students receive some form of scholarship funding, amounting in grants in excess of $1 million.
