*Important Information for the Mother Son Dance*
We look forward to celebrating our last Mother Son Dance together!
Part of our tradition is to showcase our sons in a baby photo contest for all to see and vote as well as to be treated to a slideshow in their honor during dinner. We need your help in making this a success and here’s how:
BABY PHOTO CONTEST
Your babies will be on display in the Fieldhouse lobby as you enter the dance. Moms and Sons will have the opportunity to vote in various categories, and awards will be given to the winning Seniors during the festive evening.
Please bring an 8x10 photocopied baby pic of your son, with his name clearly printed on the back of the photo, to the February 3rd Mothers’ Guild meeting, or send the photo, labeled and sealed in an envelope, to Christine Rittenmeyer in the Main Office by Monday, February 17th.
No original photos, please, as they will not be returned.
A fan favorite of the evening is viewing the Senior Slide Show which features your sons throughout their years at HGP and all the fun times they have shared together. This is comprised of the photos that you will submit. Please note that not all photos are guaranteed to be included as we want to highlight as many students as possible within the limited available time.
Please send no more than five photos to email@example.com no later than Monday, February 17th.
HGP Suit Swap is in Full Swing
Donate your sons' gently used, no-longer-fitting items at the next Mothers' Guild meeting.
The Mothers’ Guild is asking for donations of gently used, no longer needed blazers and suits. Pass along your tried and true items along to any other "Firebird Brother” that might be able to continue wearing them. Clothing will be collected at all Mothers’ Guild meetings.
If you cannot bring them to the meeting, contact Julie Markert or Rita Gleason to arrange a pickup or school drop-off.
Swap events are open to ALL parents and students. You donate what doesn't fit and take what does. Most importantly, you don't need to make a donation to participate in the event. This is completely FREE.
