Annual Christmas Dinner

It is a tradition at Holy Ghost for the freshman mothers to host the annual Mothers’ Guild Christmas Dinner, in conjunction with our general meeting, to be held this year on Monday, December 3, 2018.

We hope that each of you will be joining us for this wonderful celebration and begin to build your HGP relationship with other Moms. If you have not already done so, please RSVP here.

Additionally, help is needed from the freshman mothers to prepare for this holiday celebration. If you can assist with set up and decorating, serving, clean up, or a donation of a dessert, we would greatly appreciate it. Click here for the signup genius to donate or sign up to volunteer.

For more information on the event, feel free to contact your freshman reps.

St. John's Hospice Christmas Shoe Box Drive

Ambassadors will be to mentor new mothers through their first year at HGP by answering questions, no matter how specific or general, regarding Mothers’ Guild events, functions, and volunteer opportunities. Throughout the year they will also share news of important events and/or simply check in with their families to be sure they are acclimating well.

If you wish to volunteer to be an ambassador, or would like to have an ambassador mentor you in your first year, please fill in the attached form.

For more information about the program, please contact your sophomore reps.

Mothers' Guild Dues Donation

The Mothers' Guild would appreciate a suggested donation of $15 per son/class to assist with offsetting the costs of the various community-building events we host each year, such as the graduation reception, ring mass reception, alumni mom and senior mom celebrations, and Christmas dinner. Our gratitude, as well, goes to our Craft Show Committee who did a fabulous job: Christine Toy-Dragoni, Kathy Galasso, Jean Nycz, Lisa Samuel, Colleen Ginnetti, Tara Carbino, Kim Stone, Mimi Raksnis, Keya Watkins, Cheryl Gublo, Stacy Schroeder, Amy Barone, Joan Slavin, Rita Gleason, Trish Monaghan, Michelle Beck, Allyson Yost, Cathleen Parsons, Carolyn McLoughlin, Beth Smith, Diane Muller, Alice Braun, Jen Costigan, Courtney Elliott, and Jennifer Mariano. Your time, talent and hard work helped to make this year's Craft Show the best yet! Our students will benefit greatly from your dedication.

Thank you to our Mothers' Guild President, Jodi Zelinsky, our Treasurer, Becky Gabriele and all our executive board members for the countless hours spent planning for the Craft Show and ensuring it's smooth operation.
Sincere thanks to the Fathers' Association for all your help, especially with keeping the traffic flowing smoothly all weekend long!

We could not run this huge event without the support of the school administration and the faculty!  Thank you for your help with communications, planning, space, donations and organizing student volunteers.

So many in our community volunteered their time, donated generously, baked wonderful treats, and contributed in so many ways! This includes moms, dads, our school maintenance staff, students, alumni moms, bakers, patrons, and crafters. To all of you, we say thank you! All of your contributions added greatly to our success!

In keeping with our Spiritan tradition, all leftover food from the Craft Show Cafe was donated to the Trenton Rescue Mission. Thank you to our Cafe Chairs and Judy Krohn for making this donation possible.
