Mothers' Guild

Supporting the young men of HGP and its community for over 50 years

About Us

The HGP Mothers' Guild was founded in 1966 to provide social, cultural, material, and spiritual support to its members and to the school. All moms or guardians with sons attending HGP are automatically members, as well as alumni moms who have chosen to remain active.

The Mothers' Guild holds monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month during the school year (except for the month of January). We begin our meetings with Mass in the Chapel at 7:00pm, followed by a social gathering in the HGP Dining Hall. If you can not make the Mass, you are still welcome to come for the meeting. They usually begin around 7:30pm. Each member in attendance qualifies for a cash drawing. These meetings are a great way to keep current on what is happening at school, an opportunity to sign up for upcoming events, and a time to sit and enjoy refreshments with your fellow HGP Moms.

The Mothers' Guild is a service organization that hosts many events in support of the school community throughout the school year including:

  •  Welcome Mothers' Tea
  •  Junior Ring Mass Reception
  •  Christmas Dinner
  • Mother/Son Event
  • Graduation Reception
  • Events to Honor Senior & Alumni Moms

We also host the ever popular CRAFT SHOW, which is the Mothers' Guild largest fund raiser for the School.

There are many opportunities for you, an HGP Mom or Guardian, to volunteer and be a part of your son's high school years. No matter how much time you can offer, it is always appreciated. We welcome you to join us at the monthly meetings and see what all the excitement is about!
